Finished parts, not just a molding machine

Custom Plastic Injection Molded Parts

Custom molded parts sourcing connects geometry, material, tooling, trial approval, inspection, assembly and packing. The public examples below come from five de-identified project families.

Real Molded Part Families

Each card links a buyer requirement to the project evidence that was preserved.

PP C-clip sample variants for material selection
Precision C-clipMaterial appearance and fit were compared before the selected PP option moved into production.
Interlocking toy parts assembled during trial validation
Interlocking toy componentsFour related molds required assembly checks, dimensional feedback and correction tracking.
Flexible magnetic backing fitted to a molded organizer
Magnetic organizersAppearance, flatness and magnetic backing were aligned through successive sample and assembly checks.
Three coordinated plastic planters from a mold family project
Household plantersThree sizes shared a visual language while wall, recess, finish and nesting were reviewed by size.
Dense flexible PA6 bristle block pin array
Industrial bristle blockA sample-based industrial part required special attention to slender features, venting, draft and deformation risk.
Packed production cartons from a C-clip order
Packing and handoverProduction evidence can extend beyond parts to packing, carton count and shipment milestones where agreed.

What the Parts Scope Can Include

Before tooling

Engineering input

Drawing revision, material, critical dimensions, appearance zones, fit and use environment.

Tooling

Mold development

DFM, component choices, machining, assembly, trials and correction records.

Production

Molding control

Approved resin, sample reference, settings, selected dimensions and appearance checks.

Finishing

Secondary operations

Printing, painting, inserts or other processes only when identified and feasible for the part.

Assembly

Assembly and function

Mating-part checks, magnets, fasteners or basic function tests defined in the quality plan.

Handover

Packing and logistics

Part protection, count, labels, cartons and shipment evidence aligned to the order.

Tolerances Must Be Feature-Specific

A single blanket tolerance is rarely meaningful for an entire molded part. Resin shrinkage, wall transitions, mold construction, datum selection and measurement method all matter.

Mark the dimensions that control assembly or function. Non-critical features can then use a realistic molding tolerance instead of increasing cost and correction risk everywhere.

Capability boundary: project images show measurement and correction work; they do not establish a universal tolerance guarantee.

Send a Useful Part RFQ

Can you quote from a physical sample?
A sample can start the discussion, but a 3D model and dimensioned drawing are preferred for controlled geometry and acceptance.
Can you source the material?
Material sourcing can be included. The exact grade, supplier evidence, color reference and required test reports should be stated.
Do you provide assembly and packaging?
They can be scoped when the components, test method, packaging protection and responsibility are defined in the quotation.
